It makes sense, I mean they must have had all those hornet rear ends and Mini fronts left over from making the 1000s like yours. :lol:

W-1000, If you have Ryno's book, he devotes a short chapter to the Mk3. Common as dirt compared to the Wolseley 1000. About 8 times as many made. Well, OK. That still only means about 3800.
They were supposed to morph over time into having the Clubman front end...which might have looked better...but it never happened.

I'd say they come up for sale more often than a Mk1 around here. You should check on South African gumtree if you want one ;) . There have been a few nice original examples lately. I saw a red one, totally original, just down the street from where I live this past weekend. I'd be happy to be anyone's eyes on the ground here if you were seriously interested.

hi abri,

checked this add and must admit that I´m not quite sure what it is.
Wolseley 1000´s were only built from 1967-1968. Acooring to the later Mk2 rear lights this should be a 1968 model. Interiour, car colour and 1275cc engine is not original at all.
Have asked the seller for more details, so we´ll probably see....
