Rear seat back

Hi guys,
I've just received my new blue/brocade Newton upholstery for my March built '64 FY race car and I am a little puzzed about a detail at the top or the rear seat back. What I think is likely to be the original seat has one only metal part, a stamping that runs across the top of the seat and there are no metal fingers that locate into the two bulkhead holes (the holes are there though). This part has a lip that would mean that the seat back would have to be fitted before the parcel shelf liner. Could that be correct? My '65 and '66 are made differently and the seat comes down on top of the liner. It appears the parcel shelf liner has 4 x screws or pop rivets holding it too. Two against the seat and two against the window. I would appreciate clarification on the the seat and parcel shelf liner fixings, if anyone can.
Regards
Al
