This unfortunate state 1275 GT, we will do with it????

Well,firstly I wouldn't get the body "acid dipped" or "shot blasted"

I thought this is how they came off the production line in the eighties!!

With your fantastic panel beating / forming skills I don't think you'll have too much of a problem getting the poor GT looking as good as new.

Its a genuine GT body too so worth saving .

I guess that GT body is too far gone and a donor body seems the most logical option.

My guess is they will do it (hopefully) as its a genuine GT

Erhhh! The spare wheel, looks like it dropped out the boot floor Jens.

The spare wheel seems to be on the seat. What is 'surprising' is that the rear suspension has not yet collapsed as a result of a totally rotten rear subframe. I have had some Mini's where that happened while the body was still in far better condition than this one...
