Noticed these on eBay, I thought Mamba's were more of a Mini only wheel, are the ones on the auction 'proper' Mamba's, they do have Mamba on them, but not cast in the style of the Mini ones

They are late 60's / early 70's ones but were very rare at the time. Made by the Mini Wheel people. I have seen the odd one on single seaters before today.

Thanks for that Mark, interesting, I've got nothing to put them on but just wondered if they were real as I'd only seen the 10 inch ones (if someone has any 10x6's with verticle valves I'd be interested in them as spares
)

they are vile!
whenever i see larger mamba wheels i always have flash backs to a mk1 escort van that used to run round hull that had a set on it.
those, and one of those big grp 'humps' that where meant to be fitted to drag racers bonnets (or in his case an 1100 kent engine!)
it wasnt a strong look!
