did you know that corgi had planned to make a model from this Mini?
I know a guy who has the original corgi prototype from the 70ies.
I have an original picture out of the corgi archive that they used to plan the model.

i dont know whats best, the model t that they are using to bump start the van, or the rail in the front of the picture running a supercharged kent motor with a pair of s.us mounted on their sides!

Somehow, completely different though, reminds me of my former (tinkerers best ever) neighbour Clive Mechaell's "California Kid" fuel altered dragster, which he still occasionally races. Very cool and nice chapBTW, now in his 70ies.
