I would be interested to know about this too, is there still a refurb kit for the steel bodies Mk1 S type? I know there was a problem with replacement air valves for a while?
I think the Mini Spares Mk 1 type is currently an alloy body? Do the seals for this fit the steel S unit?

I had mine reconditioned by Past Parts,
http://www.pastparts.co.uk/products.htm They bored out the original corroded body and inserted a stainless steel sleeve.
You can also try JL spares:-
