Hi all

I am Paul (aka towners) and have been mini adddicted since 15 when my old man threw me in a autograss mini and said drive/race. That was 1981 and im crap at all sports but seemed to do alright with an a series and clonky old race shell - won final at first race meet, club driver of the day and won the championship that year - school boy dreams come true.

I since then have had about 40 of the bloody things and have a reaonable collection of spares (called crap if you go back 20 years), I dont own one at the moment but have bought 2 for my 18 year old son (in the raf) so i can tinker! also just purchased a Scamp for my 13 year old son but its to sell on as he is a budding entrepreneur.

I do sell the odd bit :-S and am in the process of setting up a spares shop/part time hobby (to be run by the new wife) now as I have premises this should be live in a month or so if I can get organised!

Another dream this year is to throw some old parts into a shell and go hillclimbing as at 47 I have decided the old adrenanline needs to flow again!

Thats enough as Im rabbling (like my father does and I said i would never do - shoot me)

Paul
