hi,anyone out there have any idea what problem could be just fitted a weber 40 runnin fine at high rev but on accelaration is flat slow to pick up untill the revs r up ,seens to be to much fuel taken in off the mark,changed the jets no inprovement,many thanks

If I remember rightly there is a small jet/restricter in the bottom of the float chamber, just make sure it has not come undone or is missing, when mine came undone it gave similar symptoms to those you describe, once back in place the engine picked up perfectly.

Hi,
did your DCOE ever work before? What is about the setting? F.e. for a 1275cc with a Weber 40: Auxiliary venturi 3.5 Choke 34 Main Jet 145 Air Jet 175 Emulsion tube F2 Pump Jet 45 Idle Jet 45F8. Otherwise you should disassemble it, clean it and put it together again with new gaskets.
