Hi everyone, I am Abri (31) and I live in Cape Town. I bought my first mini in 2006 after wanting one since I got my first car in 1999. My father always discouraged it because he said he didn't know any mini owners that weren't "lying under their cars every Saturday, fixing something". In 2006 my enthusiasm finally made me buy a 1974 Mini Deluxe 1098cc. When this car was written off after a drunk woman lawyer drove into me in late 2006, it was too late to get out of the clutches of mini obsession and I have been driving minis (and only minis) ever since. I currently own an Austin Mini 850 from 1965, a late 66 Austin Cooper S and a 1975 Leyland Mini Deluxe 1098. The 1098 is my daily driver....and I just noticed on my way back from work today that I had almost no brakes! I guess tomorrow will be spent figuring out what the problem is
I am mainly interested in Mk1 mini sedans, as original as possible, so for me this site is like the church if Parnell's book is the bible
