Hello there.
I never properly introduced myself so here it goes.
I am a 36 year old classic car enthusiast. My soft spots are light british cars (Minis, Lotus), Italian cars from the 50s and 60s, vintage Vespa scooters, and 6-cylinder Bristols, among others.
I started my car owning life with a 978 Mini 1000 that I still own, 1 restoration, 3 engines and two gearboxes later. I have driven well over 200.000 km in it, at it was my only car for 12 years running.
Its now a bit like a Speedwell Blue mk1 Cooper S replica, with a stage 1 1275 engine, mk1 grill, rear light and interior.
About a year ago I was lucky enough to save an Austin Beach Car Prototype from a scrapyard. The car's restoration is now nearly finished.
