Hi all,

I live in Denmark, and have been brought up, in the backseat of a Mini.

My Mother only had Mini,s all through her life, and my Father also drove them.
This got me into them aswell 8-)

In the beginning, I was very relaxed, about all this, but after buying, and then later restoring my Black "Thingie" all this changed

As I was given a old BMC/BL book, and in this you could "read" the codes, on a Mini,s different tags.
So now I am really into details, and correct parts-etc = anorak  he he

In 2011, I travelled to Beaulieu, and met up with a lot of the nice people inhere, and some I had met on my previus trips to UK.
I had a great time, despite the "mist".

I am into all things Mini, but love the ones with a Coachbuilt conversion, or cars modified by the original old tuning companies,
but the people who know me, or see my posts, already know all this = no hope for this one  he he

Cheers all.

Jens, it sounds like you and your family have got Mini in your DNA and a bonus to have all the knowledge! it's a credit to the cars design that a tall person like yourself can drive the car comfortably. A great picture it never fails to amaze me how roomy a Mini is when you get inside!!! :D

:) not shure - my Mothers side had family in USA, and Tobacco farms in Africa, but my Fathers family was all Danish.

My Father was 6.2 but the men in my Mothers family was tall  my Uncle was 6.6, and NOT the kind you messed with :?
he was a proffesional soldier/mercenary, and was trained by the French Foreign Legion.
