Austin 1100 auto...

Someone told me I could use Coopers S drive-shafts and CV's on a Austin 1100 Auto... can anyone verrify this?

Yep, you'll need the side covers and diff side gear/shafts as well.

althought the shaft ends are the same I thought the Austin1100 &1300 shafts were longer.

Yes, sorry. I was referring to the diff side gear shafts.
