I decided that the faint glow from the stop and tail lamps were pretty lousy on my car and have been looking at LED upgrades for a while.
Whilst I'd bought indicators and the appropriate relay for it from Classic Car Leds, I'd picked up some stop and tails which certainly LOOKED the same from elsewhere (Amazon or Ebay or suchlike) and I'd forgot that these weren't from Classic Car Leds (CCL).
After I'd fitted them and found all sorts of voltage and earth leaks in the stop and tails, and a barely noticeable difference between tail and brake lights, I called CCL. Having established that CCL weren't responsible for these particular products, I placed an order for a pair of Stop and Tails on Thursday afternoon, by Friday morning, they were in my postbox and ten minutes later, installed.
I have to say, if you've NOT fitted high quality LED bulbs AND a high level brake lamp to your car, PLEASE do it as soon as you can.
It wasn't cheap on my car, but the sheer amount of light that now comes from the back of my car really brings it up to a standard which drivers of the modern appliances on wheels are likely to see.
I've also chosen a combined DRL/Indicator for the front, and will post a full write up on my build thread once they're installed.
CCL get an 11 out of 10 rating for me. Helpful, friendly advice, UK seller, what's not to like!
