Hi guys, does someone knows where the brass connection must be connected to ?
This is the back from a rev counter from a Mini 1275GT, it's not working at the moment.
Thanks in advance, Kees

Re: Rev counter question 1275GT
From memory:
Male spade is a 12V supply on a G wire
Male bullet is an ignition 12V supply on a W wire
Female bullet goes to +ve connection on coil with a W/G wire

Re: Rev counter question 1275GT
It will also require an earth - this should be a terminal on the PCB terminal secured by a screw into the hole next to the female bullet socket, but you could run it as a wire with a ring terminal

Re: Rev counter question 1275GT
Then this type of rev counter may not work - its and RVI and he'd need an RVC.
Spidya designs do a conversion board though:

Re: Rev counter question 1275GT
I'll probably mis-speak so someone please correct me - but if your tach has an 'RVI' in the lower corner of the face you'll need a different one (or I believe you can have it converted?) for use with electronic ignition - the RVC tach is for electronic ignition. The wiring is also different. I'm still going through it myself so have no hands on experience with it.
