Mini Traveller "Rustoration" by "Look Mum no Computer" on Youtube

You may like it or not - but Sam is not only a genius when it comes to synthesizers and making music from the most extraordinary devices. He also has a faible for Minis. So here is his unconventional approach to restoring a Mini Traveller....

Yes I am a nerd: I am researching the Austrian Mini-racing scene of the 60s and 70s :ugeek:

I've been following it, as you say his approach is somewhat different but he's building a car he likes and will certainly stand out from the crowd! Most important is the fact that another Mini has been saved and he will save many cars in the future when a lot of younger people are not really into hours of welding in a freezing garage.

I've been watching these videos too.

The guy is a really engaging presenter. I think he goes too fast for anyone looking for a 'how-to' on restoring an old Mini, but at just the right speed to make the video engaging and fun.

Highly recommended!
