Lots of modern minis 60% ? I can understand that people don’t want there classics out in this wether.
Less trade stands than normal
Minisport LP883 wheels show price £64 there £51 on the website!
Newton had 10% off rrp & a few other big companies had put in a lot of effort.
Nice to catch up with forum members and friends

I thought it was pretty dire in honesty…noticed the prices on wheels which was bizarre?
Great that shows are still being put on but it seemed really lacking in content compared to my last visit which was I think 2018. Even the show and shine seemed quiet?

It was freezing.

Good to catch up with a few folk and talk Minis. Small haul of bits and pieces and despite a long day (best part of a seven hour round trip for me) it’s given me some motivation to get the engine sorted on LFF so I can drive it again.

From the other side of the fence, it did seem a bit quieter than usual with less classics, sales were average. If you take into account what is going on at the moment in the bigger political financial picture it is quite amazing it was as good as it was.

Thanks to all came and said hello (and bought something), would love to have more time to chat just it get so hectic

I agree with the comments that >60% of the cars were BMW Mini which was a sharp rise even in comparison to last year. There were relatively few classic Minis.
A noticeable drop in numbers of trade stands and less autojumble than before.
That said I still thought it was a decent show. I was on the Newton stand and it was surprisingly busy with little down time. Had some great conversations with a number of enthusiasts. I managed to buy a few nice bits too.
Looking forward to Beaulieu
