Vintage Roll cage Identity

Hi, I saw this mini listed for sale which is equipped with this 6 point roll cage (Images attached). The owner does not know the brand/specification of the cage as it was acquired second hand. He suggested it might have been purchased form RipSpeed back in the day. He also stated the following: as can be seen from the attached images the main hoop sits outside the read pockets. The main hoop tubing is 50mm whilst the diagonal, back stays and front half of the cage is 40mm tuning. The cage seems to be made out of seamless tubes. It separates into two halves only ( front and rear).

I would appreciate any knowledge about the cage.

Thanks

I don't recognise the specific model I'm afraid, but it does look like a later cage to me. Early 80s at a guess, and it is a guess.

Everything about that cage - the sleeve joints, the 4-hole feet and the welded lugs for the door bars and diagonal - says OMP to me. The 50mm main hoop would possibly suggest that it is much later, maybe well into the 90s. That said, I've never seen one that sits inboard of the rear pockets like that.

Agree , looks very like an OMP , as above I am puzzled by the 'outside' the pockets main hoop legs . G
