American Mini owners...paint colors ??

I have been searching for paint for the engine cooling fan in yellow and the switch panel in gray.
The usual sources Rustoleum, Krylon do not come close to matching my original fan and switch panel.
I do not wish to have our automotive paint store custom mix the colors, way too expensive for these 2 items.
The Parnell book lists a Datsun yellow, too many different shades and again custom mixed.
Rover / Triumph Inca yellow appears very close to match for the fan.
Have not found any gray paint ( I believe flat or matte ) that matches.
Any suggestions ??
Thanks
Jim

The assorted paint colours should be a tech matter in its own right. Maybe a new The Knack' theme

Good shout Peter. I've got a few bits to do on that section and will include that.

I compared Inca Yellow with a NOS pulley and whilst it has a slightly more orange / darker tint, it was very close indeed.

Thanks to all for your replies.
However, I do not have the access to your paint suppliers in the United Kingdom because of living in North America.
I am hoping for replies from American owners as to their sources for the yellow and gray paints.
Thanks to all and have a Happy New Year.

In Australia the switch panel was painted the same colour as the wheels, Silver Ash on cars up to around March 1969, then Silver Birch.

Thanks for your replies.
I am hoping for replies from American Mini owners who have restored their cars as to the paint brand(s) that they used for the cooling fan in yellow and the switch panel in gray.
I believe Inca yellow is very close for the cooling fan but have not found mention of the gray that is used for switch panel.
As I have mentioned, very expensive to custom mix paint and place into a spray can.
I have searched the American companies which distribute British car parts to no avail.
Thanks for your further assistance.

Not sure if it's any help but there are Dulux stores in the US;-
https://www.dulux.ca/diy/where-to-buy.html
They may recoginise Dulux Australia Paint Codes ?
I'll also just add that while it's been mentioned that the cost of having small amounts mixed would be high, even if you have the codes, it will still end up being a mixed paint, they don't keep these colours on the shelf (and I don't think they ever did).
We do have here in Australia many paint retailers who will mix small quantities and put it in Aerosol cans for application. I find these to be about 2 to 3 times the cost of similar size cans from the hardware store, which I find for what they are quite acceptable. I can get fast dry enamel, slow dry enamel and 2 pack. Fast Dry is not UV resistant, slow dry is the one I tend to use, it takes around 3 days to be touch dry and about a week to fully dry. I've not used the 2 pack as it has a separate chamber in the base of the can with the reactor, once that's mixed you only have so much time to use what's in the can before it goes off.

How expensive is "Very Expensive"?
In the UK it's about £12 (US$15) for a mixed aerosol of paint.
Doesn't strike me as that expensive.

My local automotive paint distributor has quoted me: $95.00 for a half pint of custom mixed Inca yellow paint along with the reducer and hardener.
The Inca yellow paint placed into an aerosol spray can is $55.00 which includes the hardener which is activated for a one time use.
They state the pigments of red, yellow, orange and burgundy are expensive which is reflected in the price.
You are fortunate to be able to purchase a custom mixed aerosol can of paint for 12 Pounds.
I will look for a shade of yellow paint which is "close" to Inca yellow having no responses from American Mini owners.
Thanks for your replies.

Or F0B823 which is also PPG 88297 - 1994 to 2000 another related code is 80979. Plenty of choice for you, and it must be easy to get in the States.
