Has anyone got any advice on making the jets powered? Ideally with a similar style button under the parcel shelf? Just a thought.

I’m personally on the hunt for a long stalk flash type switch which has a centre detent with an ‘on 1/off/off 2’ operation.
I’d use up to to activate screen wash and down to pulse the wiper motor (self park) to get a flick wipe and then mount this in front of the steering wheel.
Still on the hunt for that type of switch though!

I powered my manual jet wash by stripping the old press-in-and-out plunger switch and putting a small push switch from Tandy (but zillions of others are available elsewhere...) behind it. Now, the original plunger operates the electric switch that operates a small readily available pump on the bulkhead. All invisible and still looks original too.

But don't drill holes in the bulkhead for the pump as you'll end up with a 'Q' plate if the DVLA find out!!
