I think the change date is Septemberish '64 - when hydro came in. My mid September '64 850 has the later type and is one of the earliest hydro cars.woodypup59 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 9:55 am I believe the colour of the plastic around the terminal tells you which type it is.
IIRC green is pre63 unregulated (ie 12 volt), black is post 63 10 volt regulated.
