Would appreciate some advice chaps.....looking at a new air Filter regulator

It will be used for occasional spraying (mostly parts and a few panels) and running the odd air tool, nothing too much.

I was looking at this PCL one https://www.screwfix.com/p/pcl-atc6-1-4 ... ator/267hy

This is really because have used genuine PCL adaptors and couplers in the past as they actually seem to seal properly !

Question is should I go for a 3/4" or 1/2" outlet instead for any reason and also is there another make that should be looking at as well..

Appreciate any advice or suggestions, cheers in advance

Are you inferring 3/4 & 1/2 inch bsp fitting sizes (your link shows 1/4 bsp) 1/2" will be ample it will handle 5000 ltr/min - 176.573331063305 cfm the regulator indicated
will flow 1800 ltr/min - 63.5663991827898 cfm so unless you have a big compressor and want to run something like a NAG 7 grinder your choice. ;)

Was looking at the 1/4" size, but wondering if the larger 1/2" or 3/8" would be worth buying instead, for some reason I had not yet contemplated..

Ie, you can always adap` back down to 1/4"
