Hi,
I'm restoring a red Jack of a MK2 Cooper.
What are the correct color code?
Where can buy the correct decals?
Thank you.

Don't know the exact colour red - if there is an exact colour! There seems to be several variations
I got a set of the decals/transfers from a dealer in the US. Foorget who exactly but am sure he will come on board and tell you - hopefully

Re: Jack Mini MK2
That reminds me..... the fellow in the US with the jack stickers is called Nicholas Upton. Are you there Nicholas?
And while we're here, would it be a good idea if some clever-arse computer tech savvy forumer could collate all of the colours of the parts used on the mini range. Such as:
Mk2 jack: nearest colour, Ford Sunburst red
Metal fan: Triunmx XYZ yellow
Etc Etc......

Re: Jack Mini MK2
JUST what is needed. Maybe Gary could put this on The Knack part of the forum, with access to others who wish to upgrade/update it.
My only input to the subject was in the 80's, having the engine colour scanned by an early forensic spectrometer to positively identify the Mid Bronze Green engine colour. Incidentally, it also came back as an export Land Rover colour for the Malaysian or Singapore Army! I also spend many hours furtively wandering around car parks in Oxford with about 30 assorted silver colour swatches trying to get a definitive colour. Nope....., no such thing! There were MANY variations. Some newish cars even had noticeably different shades of silver
