I urged up a bit of sick in my mouth

That`s the battery I use and being a deep cycle type it doesn`t need a battery conditioner !

I wouldn`t say no to the heater on my daily as the benefit of instant heat would be nice but it`s a mk3 bitsa so it doesn`t matter.

Same with the seats, easy to change back and nice if your driving a few hundred miles in a day.

Very nice condition car so it`s a shame the next owner will be welding up the various holes in the bodywork and repainting :o

I actually quite like most of the upgrades but then I have always modified my Minis and come from the era back in the day when few of us kept their Minis 'factory standard' for long and had no need to worry about harming its value in the future classic car marketplace!

Each to their own. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I did watch a video he did about the differences between Austin and Morris a while back and that was quite enough for me! Some great stuff on YouTube I think but yes lots of drivel, probably better than the telly though!

Did anyone see the super cringy interview he did with Jessi Combs a few years ago? Man, she could not have been any less impressed, it was aweful.

Liberace of the mini world, nice chandelier wouldn't go amiss.

Did make me laugh when he said he was nervous drilling the bonnet for the strap....then promptly puts it on upside down!

I have this WTF thing about bonnet straps on a road car. If the bonnet catch assembly is properly cleaned, greased and adjusted, it won't pop. Same goes for the safety catch...... that's what it's there for!

That car is a good example of when he goes to sell it, 99% of buyers want standard! They don't really want other peoples ideas of what's good. As told to me by a local car fiend who is the head auctioneer at Pxxxxxxs until he retired a couple of years ago

Which is why the Mini shows are now such a total bore fest!

I started it but couldn't get through it. Standard tarted up "rally" car. My old man would have called it a Christmas Tree

But to each their own, clearly not my cup of tea but there's plenty of folk out there who go for that kind of thing.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

Yes Pete. But it's all these opinions that makes the forum so interesting
