I just want to show you my "new" rockercover with all new badges on it. The top badges where given to me by Peter and Peter, the Downton badge was already in my collection.

The tin rocker covers look great with a Monza cap, although I have found mine has opened once or twice, possibly vibration.

It's to classic for my 1973 leyland Mini mk3 1000cc, on my picture you seen my enginebay.

Nope, it is quite a bit smaller.

How does the cap attach? Is there some kind of adaptor that gives it a bayonet style fitting that attaches to the original filler neck, or has the neck been modified?

My cap came from an old power boat tank. It had a fine threaded brass holder with flange. I cut the flange off, so I was left with a fine threaded brass pipe, which I brazed onto the rocker cover.

Of course, that makes sense. Mine has a similar threaded brass flange, but my rocker cover is alloy and I hadn't considered that yours is steel. I think I'll need an alloy threaded piece welding in.

Looks good, but correct me if I'm wrong, but doesnt the rocker cap have to breath/vented, it is designed to be a rocker cover cap with built in said capabilites?

Use modern adessive's/epoxy, they build cars and planes with the stuff now

Here’s my entry into the Monza cap club. I opted to TIG braze the threaded neck onto my cover.
