Well, I have really only had an online and email relationship with one member here. We live in different provinces, well last weekend we both made it to a one day vintage race at a private track in Alberta. I had some minor engine glitch’s but solved them, then in the last race I blew a tire. His car was running strong till it did not. He can explain that it he wants. But was good to have two vintage minis racing in Alberta side by side, with great history behind them. Thanks Dermott for coming out. Just need to figure out how to add the photo of the cars in the paddock.
Bruce.

What a pair of wicked looking cars, and an awesome story. A private track in Alberta… could think of much worse places to spend a day!
This is a testament, if nothing else, for why this forum existing is so important for us mini fans all across the globe.
Would love nothing more than to do something like this myself eventually. Hope you get to do it again someday!
