Hi guys,

I've read on many threads and facebook posts complaints about outer sills. From what I got, many people put ones that are bigger (I think) and they tend to hold the humidity inside rotting them. I'm about to order sills for my restoration, first one ever, and I don't want to make the mistake.

I'm ordering the panels to M Machine, could someone, please, tell me if these are the correct ones? If not, I'd really appreciate if you could help me with the article number.

My car is a 1965 Asutin Deluxe.

I think you mean the large unvented 'Oversills' that used to be welded over the original rusty sills when an old Mini failed it's MOT. It would cheaply get a couple more years use out the car before going to the scrapyard once the rust had come through again. I don't think M-Machine even sell them.
See photo below of an Oversill fitted and with no open flutes/vents and most have the extra ridges pressed into them between the vent/flute 'bulges'.
Sometimes on removal there would be several layers of old rusting sills over the years!




11.33.01.17 looks ok to me if you want the inner and outer sill (4 flute) assembly?
But there are different numbers if you want only the outer sills (4 flute) or inner sills seperately?

Yes the oversill is a pretty nasty thing, though in their defence, they've kept many a car in one piece and on the road long enough for a proper job to get done, sometimes over and over again!

On my car, there was several oversills doing the job of both inner and rear outer sill.

Here you can see the correct four vent sill going onto my car, albeit as part of a full M-Machine floor.

As MAB says, the part numbers you've selected are correct for a four vent still.
