Sliding window.
Does anyone know of a forward sliding window, R/H side but each side is probably the same unless someone knows different!
Must be INDESTRUCTO and not Triplex and unscratched.
Thanks

Re: Sliding window.
Out od interest, one of our cars has a mix of indestructo and triplex. To the best of my knowledge everything is original, and the glass dates are correct.

Re: Sliding window.
As a bit of an aside to this ad. As if BMC and BL didn't have enough trouble with their own Red-Robbo strike bound workforce, they had to contend with strikers at Triplex holding up the BMC/BL production lines too. So BMC/BL decided to source glass from 2 other suppliers Destructo and TyneGlass. That clipped Triplex's wings and thereafter, to keep to the contracts with Destructo and TyneGlass, they had to source specified amounts of glass from them too. So in reality, a car of the later 60's could have any of those 3 glass sets from new.
Same happened to MG here at Abingdon - and presumably others too
But the rivet counters won't listen to the horses mouth.............. Or at least Terry Mitchells mouth, the Chief Engineer here
