Early Cooper s air filter wing nuts

Post by ateichert »

Looking for early Cooper s air filter wing nuts. I ordered a pair from Spares but only got one. Now every body is out. I would even consider a pair of original ones.
Thanks Mike

There was no real politicking here Steve. It was a bit of banter between us, all taken in good spirit and humour

Early wing nuts are more square, they were prone to breaking, hence rare. It could also explain why they were replaced on yours.

Here is a picture of the correct ones (courtesy of Nick as I couldn't find mine)
