Hi everyone,
I’m trying to get my 61 850 back on the road after a few years in storage, I removed and refitted the carb but neglected to take some pictures of how the choke and throttle cables should be connected to the linkages, and I don’t know if I have misplaced any washers or got them hooked back up correctly.
There are drawings online but I couldn’t find anything detailed enough to help.
For the choke, is it just the trunnion and nothing else needed?
And for the throttle, I have a nut, then a large washer, then they pinch the cable end and hold it, then on the other side I have a wave washer, the return spring clip, another smaller washer, the carb linkage and a split pin to finish, however I’m not convinced this is right.
If anyone could advise on the correct set up that would be most appreciated!
Thank you.

Re: Throttle and choke cable connections
The choke looks good
The throttle normally has the extra washers and return spring anchor on the other side of the throttle arm.
