He He i just love this guys outrages, agree with him though on the strikers, they wanna try running a company in this economic climate instead of just whinging about everything.

I think its unions and strikers that have had a good hand in ruining this country in the past.

Clarkson for president !!!

Unison, the UK's largest union, welcomed Mr Clarkson's apology and invited him to join a healthcare assistant to experience the reality of daily life on a hospital ward.
Dave Prentis, general secretary of Unison, said: "We are pleased Jeremy Clarkson has seen the error of his ways. It is only right he apologises for the huge offence he caused to public sector workers and their families."

Now we just need Dave Prentice to go on a context training course.

Didn't see the programme, but didn't he also say in the programme that there is no point train drivers stopping when people commit suicide in front of trains? And suggesting stopping the train won't make them better?

But it is all typical Jezza. Make him a Tory MP I say.... ;) :D

I agree anyone going on strike should be shot!!! Yes it's just a phrase to express one's anger for gods sake!!! And I can imagine them coming out on strike again if Clarkson hadn't apologised because that's what they like doing making life hard for the rest of us who are trying to work and support our families in these difficult times!!!

It's to easy just to sit back and hold the country to ransom by going on strike, the government always gives in and we end up paying for it as usual, it's the tube drivers next, then the London black-cab drivers want fares to rise by 15% during the Olympics it just keeps on going on!!!

One of the reasons why this country is up s**t street is because everyone wants to line they're pockets at our expense, it wont be long before tube drivers are demanding 70k and teachers want six months leave because life's to stressful!!!

The government needs to pass a legislation banning all strike action as it's socially unacceptable to hold a country to ransom. And to protect the rights and needs of the millions of people in this country.

Over here in the States the last time there was a major public workers strike, (air traffic controllers) Ronald Reagon fired the whole lot of 'em.
I doubt if anyone in power today would have the balls to do that....

Send them all to afganistan, they may then realise how good they have it. I bet the union leaders didn't loose a days pay either. Best bet is to just cancel their pensions and tell them to sort it out themselves like the private sector have to. Rant over

I'm with the tube drivers if they do strike, how on earth is a semi skilled man or woman who sits son their arse all day supposed to survive on £50K a year ? They spend at least half of that on bacon butties, that doesn't leave much left to live on.

And that's how much you can blackmail your employer for when you've got Bob Crow on your team. I thought socialists were all about everyone being equal, some more equal than others eh ? The only reason the tube drivers get that much is because the powers that be know just how much the economy loses if London comes to a standstill and so does Bob ;) !

Don't get me started !

Bring back Red Robbo I say, from the old 1970's British Leyland days. That would give something for Jezza to really rant about.

But saying that, Red Robbo these days would most probably would be working in a call centre, or B&Q's, and won't now say boo to a hoot, since Jezza's old mate Thatcher cut their balls off.... :o
