Suddenly running very rough

Hello all, not a mk1 but thought I’d ask here as I’ve been a member for ages-
My car has a recently rebuilt (last year in by previous owner) 1330 built by ML motorsport and was set up by AC Dodd after running in,ran perfectly a few weeks ago, did a little bit of work on it yesterday (took oil pressure relief valve off and replaced the copper washer as it was weeping a bit of oil,it’s got an adjustable relief valve but don’t think it’s relevant, and had a fiddle around with the hi lows) didn’t start it or drive it yesterday
Went to drive it this morning and it struggled a bit to start, then ran like a bag of shite, very rough,I only drove round the block.
Felt as if running on three pots but I pulled each plug lead off and engine note changed each time, took the fuel pipe off the carb, electric fuel pump seems to be doing its thing, oil pressure is a shade over 75 psi at cold as usual
Any ideas anyone? It feels like back in the day when I used a mini daily and the dizzy got wet !
Could the fuel have gone off very quickly? It’s got twin tanks and not been used for a couple of weeks, and I’ve not put any fuel in for about three or four weeks-always use v power or Esso supreme or whatever they call the 99ron
Thanks
Andrew
