tyre size

i have 7x13 wheels for my v8 clubman what size tyres would be best for this size wheel

175/50x13 seems to be the favourite tyre size when fitting 7 x 13 wheels on a Mini, although 6 x 13 as fitted to the later Sportpack Minis is better suited to that width of tyre.

For reference photos below are 7 x 13 with 175/50x13 with 'Sportpack' arches.

Will your engineer need a specific weight or speed rating on the tyres?

nothing has been said about that if i get to that point in time we will see then but i will fit good tyres on as the power will be there and i learnt from past experiance with my xy v8 ute with 600 hp at the back wheels cheap last only a short while and not good for sustained speed 140 mph was the max for me blow outs are not nice

195/45/13 would probably be better.
Continental used to do some fantastic ones.
