JKD A+ Dog kit into 1128 case

Hey team,
I have a JKD Dog kit on its way & it's currently in an A+ case. This isn't really fitting with what I am building so would like to refit into an 1128 remote case.
I understand there is some relief required for the layshaft at the inner end but am concerned about the Reverse idler.
Do the JKD kits use a "specific" reverse idler?
Have done a fair amount of searching but thus far not got a solid answer.
Thanks!

There are 4 different basic ratios , it depends how many teeth are on first gear of laygear.
Is it an early face dog kit or an involute kit ?

I'm not in possession of it just yet, should arrive in a week and a bit, so can't confirm tooth count - I believe it to be involute.
I purchased off a good mate up country & he was a bit light on the details...

It would be a very good idea to determine which involute set it is. The last generation JKD involute was pure junk. Steve (CTR)

Some progress,
I now have the box home and in bits. Laygear is 14t first.
I have dummied the laygear and standard remote reverse idler into the remote casing (22g1128) and all looks well for gear mesh etc
I'll fit the selector rods etc to ensure the travel and engagement is ok, only potential issue I can see is a slight contact between the idler & Laygear if the idler moves too far "home".
Thanks
