can some one confirm for me when the mk11 ignition solenoid changed from the rubber push button type on the flywheel housing to the square one and was it fitted on the inner wing please.

Mk 2 solenoids were still on the flywheel housing and the square 4ST type.

So it's only the automatic that had it mounted on the inner wing.
