Hi all,
Can someone provide a picture with a full original set of material like (brochures, handbook, service history, RAC and or AA services... ecc.) packed and included with every new car envelope supplied during the 1965/66??
.
Many thanks for your help
Sandro

My mum had a couple of new minis at the time and as I recall it, the only things in the envelope, on the parcel shelf, were the user handbook and a little passport to service booklet. There was also a fold-out sheet that gave brief datails of BMC items applicable to a mini that the dealer could supply....., at extra cost of course!
One of the new cars was GRX 579 D. I wish she still had that number. It'd have been worth a fortune to someone building a works replica

Hi Peter,
many thanks for your help and answer.
I guess that you are referring to the set in the picture, and that is exactly what I have.
Probably in some envelopes there are other brochures also according with Mark, BMC radio.....
Moreover, Ben W. published some envelope for sale in Facebook, but I do not know if I am authorized to post that images
....with some leaflet of RAC services inside the envelope

Many thanks Mab!
below two pictures of the content of two original envelopes for sale in Facebook by Ben Wiltshire, with some interesting items that were probably included since the beginning.
they were for two Mk2 (1967-1968)

There was no fixed collection of booklets in the owners pack, but the ones immediately above, are fairly representative of a mid 60's one. Apart from the Passport to Service, which didn't look like that until late 67 - 68 as the label says.
