Brackets - ADA 4776

I've got some brackets which came in a job lot but searching the part number ADA 4776 I cannot find anything about them.
Can anyone share any more information about them? I am guessing they are seatbelt brackets which bolt to the car floor pan and then the bottom seatbelt fixing point is bolted into this?

If we knew where you were located it might help to indicate whether the parts were a national requirement for some BL/BMC car. Possibly seat belt but against this is that basic physics tells me that at 30mph, a 12 stone human pulling against those 1/2" AF bolts would pull them through the floor - or rear bin. Unless there was something more substantial else to strengthen what you've got. I could be wrong of course - as my wife tells me regularly during the day

I'm in the UK and came with parts in the UK including some belts, which made me think it was for them. I can't seem to find any info about them.

The static and automatic Seat Belts in this BMC Mini Accessories leaflet below both have their part numbers prefixed with ADA (ADA 4242 & ADA 4189) which seems to confirm they are seat belt brackets.
I think I have seen similar brackets bolted to the centre tunnel of early Minis each side of the handbrake for belts, usually with just small plates underneath the tunnel to spread the load.

Thanks for clarification on this. I'm also wondering if its likely being a part from an ADO16 or MG as they all seemed to have the Kangol or Britax belts early in the day. I'll continue to do some digging.

My unipart top-man neighbour told me a few years ago that Unipart/BMC/BL retained a lot of the outside sole suppliers part numbers as simple identifiers and for simplicity. SU and Cam-Gears spring to mind. So an ADA prefix might indicate Kangol

Doesn't ADA stand for: "Austin Design, Accessory"...?
