Mk1 Door Drainage

Post by Mar6Gor6MG6 »

I have a1960 Austin Seven, I removed the door cards and found no rubber drainage tubes either side, how many in each door 1 or 2. Also can't find tube under window track to fit the rubber pipe to. Definitely not there, thanks Gordon.

Early car doors drained out the rear of the door frame not through tubes.

You should see a square hole above the door catch

Thanks very much for your answers, didn't know that , even though back in the day I had early minis but never thought about that then. All we did was tear about and not do too much maintenance, thanks again anyway Gordon.
