Hi Chap's!
I was too late to book the Camping for the this Years Goodwood Revival.
My question: does anyone has a Spare Camping Ticket?

I was just asking this the other day. Seems like there is less camping space now, which is a real shame.
I know Robb and I are going, but at the moment it's looking like it'll be at some other local campsite, or my Pal's garden in Chiddingfold!

Surely, chaps..... Goodwood deserves better than that camping stuff..... What it needs is glamping..... a sort of Glamour Camping to go with the Regimental cravat and tweeds

Den & I hired a "luxury camper" at Goodwood a few years ago, I hesitate to admit how many thousands of pounds it cost us. Suffice to say, it was more akin to the one Father Ted went on holiday too, than any sort of luxury.

Avoid anything but basic camping at Goodwood.
This is the exact reason they are now restricting the basic camping spots, they can hire the pitches out and make a fortune!

yup, seems that way
still, If I can't sleep in 'is lordship's field, I'm sure I'll find another. The south coast must be dripping with glamping sites and all that type of thing.
Fingers crossed

Iāl be camping in the luxury of my home, watch the coverage on line and not have my wallet robbed. I went to the Revival in the early days but it has totally lost its appeal for me and many other enthusiasts that I know. Originally there was access to the pits and good aerobatic displays together with none of the razzmatazz and all the corporate rabbit hutches, it appears to catering for a totally different audience!
I hope to get to the Autumn Classic at Castle Combe again where it appears to be a two day event now, much better value where you can watch good racing, browse the pits and not have all the razzmatazz.

Stayed here a couple years ago with motorhome and race shuttle.
Very tidy site helpful owner and just about 15 minutes away.
No amenities but didn't bother us in motorhome.
There was a tent there also.

Little tip lads..
Park your car in the main car park, get totally wrecked on stupidly expensive weak lager.
Crash out in your car.
The end.

This forum is a brilliant source of information and inspiration but I don't think this will be beaten in a hurry
