i have buy some spot covers, but I don't find the way how to close ?
Someone have these system or an idea ?

Cable Tie ..i seem to remember the original Cover elastic was sewn together then Lamp Cover just pulled on/off over the Lamp.
originals had a small window so it could be seen if the Lamp was left switched On.

I would’ve though you push the long part through the other as you have done and then bend it back on itself to form a hook?

Indeed, I thought so too. But isn't really simple if you want to pick up quickly during rally.
With the cable tie , I brought them together. There is enough stretch to put over them.
