Just fitting a Minispares Cooper S damper pulley assembly (12A367 - Torsional Vibration Damper Ring)
The Minispares website offers fitting instructions and the link to PDF appears to have disappeared.
I could do with Fitting Instructions or at least the torque settings for the 4 bolts that hold the damper to the crank pulley.
Anybody on here happen to know these please?
Thanks

Just spoke to Keith Dodd at Minispares, the Oracle says 18 lbs torque. Roland

Thanks gents. Yes I got the washer Andy. The bolt wouldn't fit inside the teeth though. Had to file it out quite a bit.
I went for 20lb/ft in the end using calculations based on thread size/type so not far away from the 18 Dodd quotes. Given me some reassurance. Thanks again.

Re: Minispares Cooper S Crank damper torque settings needed
I think the quality of the bolts would have an effect on the torque. I have been using the two-part balancer assembly on all my builds. I use Loc tite bearing mount between snout and pulley and red on pulley bolt and torque to 70 lb. ft. I use the loc plate, 5/16 grade 8 bolts , red loc tite, 18 to 22 lb. ft. with hard flat washers and high grade loc washers. I mark the two parts of balancer as I always have my units balanced. I prefer the crank be balanced, then the pulley added and checked and corrected if needed. Then add the balance ring and correct it. Once done I remove and prep and torque one bolt at a time to avoid changing relationship. Steve (CTR)
