LLX 358D

I always wondered what happened to LLX 358D that was used in the Charrington’s Historic Rallies in 1992 with Timo Makinen (as pictured at Weston Park) at the wheel and Tiff Needell who went so well in it in 1993 until he broke the crank. Really nicely prepared car (by Tom Seal) and I can’t say I’ve seen it since!

Still on the DVLA website. No V5 change since '93.

Which wore the BJB 77B number plate for Timo to drive on the Charrington’s in 1991?

Timo again winning the 1991 Charrington’s in the same car(?) wearing the BJB number plate (well I always assumed that to be the case)
Fantastic evens weren’t they! Where did EWK get to aswell?

Hopefully better through a water splash than a Corolla.

I’ll have dig out my own photos from some the big historic rallies like the Charrington’s and Millers in the early 90s, anyone got any entry lists or results?

EWK was sold to David Sutton in early 90's converted to LHD for his client Ignaccio Sunsundequi (spelling?)
and is still in his collection I think.
LLX was sold after the Charringtons to a client from London, I have no more history ref this car.

Thanks Tom, amazing how many of these cars fall off the radar.

Spain maybe if it was sold to Sunsundegui (as Tom suggests), who died in 1997 during the Panama - Alaska historic rally!
