ive gotta admit my red super got me hooked on minis from an early age
i was back in 1970 when i first set eyes on mine,,
took me till 2003 to get my hands on it though...
dont drive it much now though,,its just sat under a cover in my "mini museum"
its the only red morris super known to survive..im scared of sombody hitting it...lol

Have to admit its a bit of a risk taking these cars out on the road looking at some peoples driving standards these days. Still I will drive mine, when its not raining that is.

Here's one I used to own, it's still alive, but only just.
Not very good pics, but it was a genuine Super

One day hopefully, though the only thing stopping it folding in half was the pallet it came on!

If those are PH grill buttons ? the car is worth a fortune
(ohh sorry, that was the NOS ones)
Lovely "patina" just needs a polish, some new brakefluid, and a pair of strips to hold that bumper
then its ready for MOT .

I agree, it only takes one of these idiots, reading/writing/sending, a tekst message while driving
I also said I never would drive the Black "thingie" in the rain,
but when C&SC are at your place to do an article, you dont have an option
well you do - but then there is no article

The front end was the good bit, the engine bay was sound, the boot area was repairable, but there wasn't much left in the middle! It was restorable when I sold it, but only just.
