Front registration plate hanger

My front registration plate hanger on my Mk 1 flaps and rattles around. Fixed on each side to the front apron by an M10 bolt. Is there a better way of doing this? Trivial I know but I am sure there are people out there who have found the same problem and a good solution. (Asking questions like this I think I might have started to miss the point of what a Mini is all about!
)

drill it and put another nut and bolt through
if its the early type with the lugs,you are well stuffed..

Big "Penny" washers have always worked OK for me.

haaaaaaaaa,,ive dun that too,but i didnt wanna sound ~"cowboy"
saying that mark,,lots of mine have penny washers behind them,,lol
purists "run a mile now"
those early ones with the tag fixing always Rattlers tho
