Dose anyone have a drawing or measurements on where to drill correctly and mount the oil cooler for a mini Cooper S Mk2 using the orginal correct brackets and rivets. Also any measurements for the front diagonal panel reinforement strip when the oil cooler is fitted.
I'm getting myself confused with investigating the correct oil cooler bracket.
My car is a Mk2 69, but I understand the bracket changed is 66 to the long type. Was it fitted to the sub frame or the front panel?
Any help would be appreciated on getting this right.

It looks like you are making up a replica S from a standard Mk2. Nothing wrong with that but maybe you ought to tell the most helpful forum flock where you live/based and someone will probably show you these points. Or if you live near Oxford, discuss it over a few beers!!!!!

With referance to the Mini Spares North drawing.
I have had a couple of inner gaurds where the bracket for the bonnet stay has been in different locations.
So check this before using it as a datum and drilling holes.
