1964 FE Numbers relating to Floor Starter Switches

I've searched this site without stumbling on the answer I'm seeking.
BMIHT (Heritage) says my specific log book with chassis number did not survive, though they suggest it was built in mid-64. My car does not currently have a floor starter, but I could definitely see someone having switched this during the car's life. My research tells me that floor switches were no longer being installed as of September of '64. My car dates to that cusp. I'm hoping to get some help clarifying when my car was produced, and whether or not it would have originally had a floor starter or Ignition Switch starter.
Front End - FE746958
Chassis - A/A2S7 620984 M
Thank you for any help you can provide.
