Rattle in the back

So my 60's mini was making some noises when driving around and I have been able to fix them in the past months. The thing is there is a persisting noise on the back of the mining for most part of the driving time, It has cones suspension so I don't know if the only way around it is to replace the cones or could be something more easy to fix.
Any comments apprieciated.
Nick

My rattle turned out to be a broken rear exhaust mount. It might be worth giving yours a wiggle to see if yours is ok

Shock absorber bushes or even the shocks themselves ?

I agree with the others. The least likely culprit for a rear end rattle are the knuckles or springs. Worn knuckles will creak/squeak not rattle. It sounds stupid but you might even have a stone sitting in the bottom of the subframe, below the trumpet,, there's plenty of space for a stone to rattle around in there.

I had a rattle at the back that was very annoying and it turned out to be the bottom shock mount bush.

Wrap an old rag around the rear trumpet you suspect and tie it on tightly / tape it up. If the rattle is muted you'll have a better idea if that is is the culprit when you you run it around the block to check.

My rattle in the back was a top shock absorber/damper rubber bush that was worn/perished, hidden behind the petrol tank, which was allowing metal to metal contact with suspension movement.
Also but more of a buzzing sound than a loud rattle can be the chrome trim vibrating that is fitted around the top edge of the rear pockets/bins.

Thanx a lot for the recommendations, actually, I took the mini for a long highway ride (5hrs) this weekend for the first time in many years, and the noise reduced, noy entirely, but something to notice.
thanx
