21A809 Somerford Exhaust

Wondering if anyone has had experience/ thoughts on this. More expensive than than the usual RC40 but a bit more OR looking??

I'm not sure if this is the same, but we have the Maniflow single box 'works' exhaust on our '65 998 Cooper.

Fits well, looks great to my eyes (very original), sounds fabulous, but I would imagine it would be too noisy for more sensitive souls in the single box configuration. I personally love it..

Are these not the ones made by Maniflow?

they do a twin box system, I'll possibly use an RC40 as that was what I fitted 42 years ago

Yes. Fitted one last year, as I mentioned above.

they have tried to make the system / boxes look like the OE BMC part with the 4 crimps at each end, I assume thats why it so expensive
