Hi all,
Just introducing myself, been a non posting member here for a while.
Just purchased a semi rotten early mk1 shell which I am hoping to restore to a good standard and maybe get sprinted all being well......other half thinks that I need a new project like a hole in the head, women eh?

Anyway, the sprint idea is a way off yet, new floors, sills, boot floor, front end etc etc to sort first. Must say reading about some of the projects on here is giving me some inspiration and information - Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, good luck with your MK1 and be sure to start a thread in the Projects section, we all like to see another one going back on the road, if you Sprint the car are you going to cut it

Early days yet, still working out the panel list etc but will certainly get some pic's up before I pull her apart.

Not sure whether I would like to take on the actual "sprinting" of the shell myself although am finding it fascinating researching the cut lines, really fancy getting it into a sound condition then taking it to France to have done by the master.
A dream at the moment but hoping I can make it happen.
