Diff pre-load

I’ve been rebuilding a few gearboxes lately and have been allowing 7 thou for gasket crush when setting the pre load . Thing is is this correct when using Minispares gaskets . … Shirley
I have measured the minispares gaskets from the gasket sets at 14thou, then 11thou compressed. The GUG705567GM gaskets are 7thou compressed.
