Rotisserie design feature

This has probably been done before but I haven’t seen it. Im restoring a 1970 Mk2 and have put together a rotisserie based on designs I’ve seen here and elsewhere. I found that the shell’s centre of mass was unacceptably below the rotating axis even though I left the windshield and rear window in place (everything else has been removed), which made for high torque loads when the shell was rotated 90 degrees. I Added a tuneable counterweight to the spit, as shown here. It works great and the shell can be rotated with ease.
